I have the same problem with a few of Apple's online PDF documentation. It's very nicely produced documentation and it's great on the Mac itself but on the Palm, every single page of some of the documents is displayed as an image.

The pages that appear this way seem to have blue borders (meaning that all the tables of content appear this way when you scroll through the documents, though they work if you choose to go to Table of Contents from the interface of Adobe Reader on the Palm).

The conversion application on OS X (called, confusingly, Adobe Reader for Palm OS) is perhaps taking every page that has a border to be an image.

All this wouldn't be *so* bad if the images were actually readable on the Palm but I tap and hold and get 'image exceeds memory limit requirements', whether I've used 256 colours or thousands during the conversion. Try moving Apple's Command_line.pdf document to your Palm. It's here:

[Edit: I have about 60MB of free Memory Card space so "memory limit requirements", whatever they are, must really be in need of some adjustment. The PDF itself - before or after conversion - is only few megabytes in size.]
