can't activate palm reader at adobe.com

I searched all over the Adobe forums and still couldn't find answers to these problems that worked for me. Hopefully some of you have conquered this and can help. Does this look familiar? I get this at the Adobe website when trying to "activate" my palm software:

"Your Adobe software could not be activated. Adobe DRM Activator error (client code 10). Fault location: 2 Contact customer support."

-I've activated the Reader v.6.0 on Mac 10.2.8, and can download and read e-books no problem.

-Reader v.3.0.5 is on the Zire 71- again, no problems converting, importing and reading other adobe documents.

If I try and "send to handheld" an e-book directly from "my bookshelf" I'll get past the first couple of prompts-- and Adobe Reader "unexpectedly quits". Every single time.So I'll go BACK to the website and try again to "activate" my adobe palm app. Again with the above message. It might be something simple, but I'm out of ideas- and getting short on patience.

Anybody???
