Hi all,

I made a PDF document with TextEdit and "Print->Save As PDF" on Mac OS X 10.3, and transferred it to my Palm m500 using Adobe Reader for Palm OS 3.05. However, carriage returns(or line-feed) are ignored when viewing it on Palm. In fact, the document is a lyric, which consists of short lines, but all the lines are connected when viewing on Palm.

I found this topic in the Archive folder("carriage returns lost on Palm", Aug 7, 2003) but it has no feedback.

Has anyone had the same problem, or any suggestions?

Thank you!

I have then same problem when trying to create pdf document which contains tables. It destroys the table if they are too simple by converting it to one text line. If I add some formatting to table, it can display part of the table well, or show whole table unesessary small and many times list part of the table as text and part as it should.

I think there should be an option whether or not it should remove line ends.

And It should work the same way throughout the table. It seems to be a bit buggy software still. If someone is interested, I can send pdf file to test this.
