What a mess, updating Reader from v7.0 to 7.0.8! For the second time, I have to download a 32MB update file for the second time tonight on a 256 Kbit/s line after updating from 7.0 to 7.0.5. Where did the 7.0.7 update go? When I start Reader and check for updates, expecting to see only the need for the next and last 7.0.8 update, the 7.0.7 update is still visable in the left pane. So now I need to spend an hour getting 7.0.7 update again. If I'd known Adobe's updaters were so buggy, i'd have removed Reader alltogether instead and used Preview. Preview (and not Reader - no way!) will be used on my wife's Powerbook. And if I have to re-install, Reader gets the boot in a new installation. I'm really pissed off. No Flash or any thing from Adobe on my computers - ever again.

IT'S STILL THERE! The 7.0.7 Update - in the left pane of the Check for updates. And why is 7.0.5 still there in Applications and no 7.0.7? What a frigging mess, Adobe Reader. Never again! Good bye.
