"Adobe Reader for Palm OS is running. Shut it down and run the installer again."

I had the reader for Palm 3.05 working OK once, but of course the DRM stuff was giving me all kinds of problems.

Now that I have the DRM taken care of, I can't get the Adobe Reader for Palm OS installed. Before the installation even gets off of the ground, the error I've typed above appears.

How do I get past this? What is it that makes the installer think the program is running when it isn't even installed on my computer?

I would seriously appreciate any help you could give me. I'm about to get a refund from Amazon and complain as much as they will listen.

Thanks
