I apologize for jumping in but have the same basic issue. I have the same message that comes up when I first open Adobe 6.0 reader. In addition, it appears that when I'm on the web in IE and click on an an adobe file, I can't open it. I would really like to know how to reset IE so that I can open Adobe files in IE automatically. Right now, the only thing I know to do is to save them and manually open them with Adobe which is quite time consuming. There has to be a better way. Again, sorry for jumping into your post. Just looking for a similar answer.
