I attempted to download the Adobe Reader 8.0 update, however an Error 1714 message appeared stating that "the older version of Adobe Reader 8 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group".

Another message followed stating "setup was interrupted before Adobe Reader could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again".

Can someone help this issue?
