Unfortunately, the office computer does not have MS Word, it has Word Perfect. I have tried to open the MS word file but all I get is a messy document with all caps and re formatted margins. I am a consultant who finds myself faced with various office setups and software with various clients in different states. My laptop contains a huge MS Access database which is the data I use to create the address labels. My laptop is rarely connected to my clients' printers so hence I have to transfer either the MS Word doc or a PDF doc for printing purposes. I was able to solve this immediate problem by going to a different computer with MS Word and transfer the MS Word doc to that computer. However, I will not always have this option so I am still interest in any suggestions. Thank you.
