Have an employee website that uses fdf toolkit to open up a pdf to open up a document in a new window that the employees fill out and enter information that is then stored upon pdf submission. Recently moved to an SAP portal framework. Since then have sporadic reports of people who will have the new browswer window open up - but the window remains blank instead of opening the PDF. Down below all the open broswer windows - an Adobe Reader box opens up with the following message: There was an error opening this document. This file is already open or in use by another application. This dialog box is generally hidden below all open windows. Hitting refresh on the blank window browser generally loads the pdf and the user can continue. But this is causing confusion. It seems most users are fine - but enough people are having the issue to raise a flag on it.
