R.T, no my issue is a little different but I do have unwanted boxes which I cannot eliminate. As I said, I turn on the computer the Adobe Reader Update Manager window pops up asking if I want to "replace" a file or put this file in a new destination. The second window says that some of the updates may not be complete, do I want to continue or quit. I have tried both options offered in both windows, and still the two windows show up each time I turn on my computer.
