Hi Martin, I've looked everywhere for some documentation about this now and can't find any help. To be honest I am no longer sure if this is a bug or whether Adobe have done it deliberately. The help documentation definitely describes the old version 7 functionality, but FAQ's on this website state that it is not possible to save form data without additional Adobe software. The two things clearly contradict each other! I have filed a bug report anyway in the hope that something gets done. In the mean time I have removed version 8 and re-installed version 7. This functionality is too important to my business to manage without. I am so disappointed about this. One of the reasons I chose to create these forms as pdf's was that I thought that, unlike some other software vendors, Adobe did not play this kind of game :-( I know reader is free, but so many people depend on it's functionality staying stable. I intend to port all my company documentation to an open standard as soon as possible. My business can't afford this kind of cock up!
