Adobe 8 Reader print problems

I am having a problem with printing in Adobe Reader 8.0. I go to print a document, and the file automatically quits. It does this whether I use the print icon or whether I go to File-Print. I don't get a print screen or anything, I click on Print, and the whole file/application quits. I have not had any problems printing with previous version of Adobe. I have uninstalled 8, then reinstalled and am having the same problem.
Any suggestions
