For me - whenever I open a PDF, my machine slows down considerably and then hangs (Indicator for Hard Disk keeps on glowing) - this is happening after installing Adobe Reader 8. I have machine with XP SP2. Its so bad that I need to restart the machine to make it "work". I tried to uninstall this version, but then cant get older version :( . Help!!!
