Quicken Attachments Won't Delete

I am using Adobe Reader 8.0.0. I cannot delete or replace attachments incorrectly added in my Quicken 2006. I get a message that says "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." Quicken says this is a know problem with Adobe Reader 7.0.8 and above. When will a fix be available? Is there anything I can do in the meantime?
