Sorry, I do not have any suggestion, but I can confirm the problem -
adobe reader 8 breaks the print-function. If anyone has successfully
accomplished printing with adobe reader 8, we may be able to find a
solution (maybe setting a parameter explicitly which was set by default
in prior versions?).

Anyone?
