Acrobat 6.0 Professional page size problems

I am using Acrobat 6.0 Professional on a computer running Windows XP.

I have made some PDFs of documents for distribution and someone has come back to me with a problem.

When using the bookmarks that I have created the size of the page viewed on the screen changes from the view set up in the preferences on that PC to some sort of default. I have been told that not all PDFs do this so it must be something I have accidentally set up when creating the PDFs. Do you know what I may have done, or how I can stop my PDFs over-riding peoples personal preferences set up on their PCs?
