After working on this with Adobe support with one of my customers, the determination was made that the problem is that the print request is submitted before the number of pages is known. There is no good workaround for this unless you know precisely how long it will be until the PDF will be completely available, which is usually impossible due to varying network and system load.

If you know that the PDF will always be completely streamed after something 5 seconds, you can use a Javascript setTimeout() statement to delay five seconds then make the PrintWithDialog() call.

Since Adobe Support has been made aware of this and has acknowledged that this is an issue, I am hopeful that some workaround will be implemented in a future release.
