Folks, I've just downloaded Acrobat Reader 8.0 (after un-installing the previous 7.0.8 rev) and now I am being locked out of entering Acrobat. When I try to open a PDF I get the Updater status bar window followed by this error: "Some components needed to complete this operation are missing but information about them may be available on the Adobe website. Would you like to search the Adobe website for the missing components?" OK -QUIT When I choose OK and the Adobe website search appears I continue to get a meesage that the "FileOpen Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat/Reader" installation. I've now installed this thing a half dozen times, all to the same end result. I seemed to be trapped in this loop. Do you have any idea how I could get out of this predicament? Thanks in advance! Steve Dorner
