I have some MCSE books from Sybex. I have been able to read the E-books from the disks included with version 5 & 6 respectively. Since installing version 8 I've not been able to read them. On my first install I double clicked on the PDF E-book and Acrobat does not open. I started version 8 and tried to open the E-book but it closes with no errors. I followed some troubleshooting tips and uninstalled previous versions and removed temporary files using the command line. After reinstalling version 8 I tried to open the E-books which initiates the FileOpen download and install. I restart Adobe and tried to open the file again and it initiates the FileOpen again. All subsequent attempts result in Adobe closing with no errors.
