Sorry, I clearly didn't give enough information. I have Windows XP, Pentium 4 OS, 181 GB HD (157 free space), 512 KB Ram. My ISP is Netscape; Windows Internet Explorer v7 is my browser. I receive very few .pdf files by e-mail but in the last two months I have received the 'file has been damaged and could not be repaired' error message when trying to open downloaded files that are larger. I am not certain what the break point is - I can always open single pages and cannot open a 20 page document. This is a recent development and the only major change I recall is downloading v.7 of Internet Explorer.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
