When I click on links inside my PDFs, it doesn't always open the website. The cursor always turns into the hand with the W in it when I mouse over the link, but often clicking does nothing. I have determined that when MS Internet Explorer (Version 7.0) is closed OR it has only 1 tab open, the links won't work. If I have 2 tabs open, it will load the page in the first tab. Bizarre! I haven't loaded any browser other than the preinstalled IE.

Changing security settings in Reader makes no difference in this behavior. This computer that I am using is new (Early Christmas present), but it might also be an issue with the new IE version that they pushed out recently. If it helps, I am including my system specs according to Adobe Reader (personal info removed) below.

Is the problem that Reader hasn't located the default browser, since no browser is listed as the default in Reader's System Info/System Parameters? If so, how do I introduce Reader to Explorer since I can't just say "Reader, meet Explorer. Explorer, meet Reader. Now be friends and get along."
