I recently upgraded to Version 8 and found that some other software no longer performs correctly.

I contacted the supplier and he explained that "the only reason you would get this error is if you had Microsoft Beta software installed. I've discussed this error with our programmers and they can't offer support, since this is an actual system error."

I therefore had to uninstall Version 8 and now my program works fine again. Is there a way around this problem?

I am running windows XP home and IE 7.0.5730.11. The Internet Explorer version does not say that it is a Beta version.
