I had a problem with 8.0 (see other post) and wanted to revert back to 7.0.8. I had uninstalled 7.0.8 and found that the Adobe website would not allow me to download it (at least I couldn't find it).

I set a System Restore check point, then uninstalled 7.0.8, then installed 8.0. When I discovered the problem, I used System Restore to revert to the state before installation. This seemed to delete the settings pointing to 8.0. However, the 7.0.8 program files had been deleted, so it was unusable.

Fortunately, I still had the file AdbeRdr70_enu_full.exe on my hard drive. It installed AR 7.0 fine, and I was able to update it to 7.0.8. It is now working fine.

But what if I did not have the file on my disk? Is there any other way to install the older version?
