Did you try to download Abode 8.0 from the website? That's what I did and it still didn't work. I haven't tried to remove Adobe but when I tried updating from 7.0.5 to 7.0.8 it didn't work, some error came up during the installation but said I could continue installing if I wanted to but I didn't.

When I had 6.0 and jumped to 7.0 I had no problems but I had done the upgrade through Adobe, you know the critical updates and I wonder if I would be able to do that for 8.0 but it still wants me to download 7.0.8 as a critical update and still doesn't offer 8.0 as a download even though it's out.
