Adobe Reader 8.0 + Canon MP830 = Yellow Background?

Just upgraded to Adobe Reader 8 on my brand new Intel iMac. After the upgrade, I've noticed that Reader prints a bright, neon yellow background whenever we print PDF files on our Canon MP830.

So far, only Reader 8 causes this problem... no other applications seem affected.

The preview window in the print dialog shows the document background as white, as it should be, but there's obviously a problem when it sends the data to the printer.

I can open the same PDF in Preview and print it just fine... again, this is obviously a problem with how Adobe Reader 8 is talking to our printer.

Any help you can provide would be great. Thanks!
