I am comfortable the message was generated by the Adobe Install. However, even though the Adobe Download Manager is still on my PC (the download that the message displayed it could not find uninstl.exe was supposed to remove the Download Manager)I slected don't install the problem upgrade but continue....the download did upgrade my version of Adobe Reader from 7.0.5 to 7.0.8....and it runs just fine.
