Hi,

Originally I had problems in installing AR8, as it crashed whenever it started up. I fixed this by ,as a root user, deleting all Adobe Acrobat files I could find under Libraries and Documents folders, and then reinstalling.

It now starts up fine and works as expected. However if AR8 is closed and I try and open a PDF by clicking it it gives me the error "An unexpected error has occured (-10660)". If AR8 is open the PDF opens as expected.

Any ideas?

I'm on an iMac 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo using 10.4.8

Thanks,

Francis.
