I have a slightly different problem installing Reader 8 on Vista. Installation fails immediately after Vista security warning. No action, no notice, no error message; just nothing. Tried the actions in this thread; running as administrator, ample disk space, fresh install of Vista Enterprise RTM. I can see the adobe service in the task manager, just no installation. Anybody have any suggestions?
