Adobe 8.0 drawing error rendering Distiller 5.0.5 documents?

I just upgraded to Adobe 8 Reader, and it seems to display everything fine except documents we have created via Distiller v5.0.5 now say "a drawing error has occurred".

I have reopened one of the affected PDFs in 7.0.8, and it is fine.

The PDF is distilled from a job that had been created as postscript.

Any help would be welcome, as our 8000-user user base might not like being able to view images suddenly.

Obviously, we're not recommending upgrading until we can resolve this, but there is always a percentage of a userbase which will upgrade as soon as it is available. {grin}
