Felipe, can you try removing the following directories (move them to your desktop), then launching Reader again... \<bootdrive>\Users\<currentuser>\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Updater5\ and <bootdrive>\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Updater5\. Also, could you try running \Applications\Utilites\Console when you launch Reader - and see what errors or failures it reports? Thanks!
