Hi, is there any open source search engine which is capable of
* Index a collection of PDF files remotely, (search engine reside on the server and PDF files reside on a local desktop/laptop, since the server is not allowed to store any copies copyright materials. And then the index is stored in database so it can be used for searching without relying on the PDF files. Thanks in advance.
