Error when trying to save an editable PDF

I am getting the following message when I fill out fields in an editable PDF and then try to save it.

An unimplemented or obsolete function was called.

When I tried to search for this error string on Adobe's site there were no hits.

I am using WinXP with Adobe Raeder 7.0.8. According to the document properties, Adobe PDFMaker v5 for Word was used to create the PDF doc.

Thanks
