I'm using Adobe Reader 7.08. I installed it on my three systems and inmediately I began to have problems when I shut down the computer.
First I receive a message about Dwwin.exe failing to initialize because the system is shutting down -later I learned that this is Dr. Watson program trying to open because there was a problem with some other program when shutting down-.
The cause of the problem is Adobe Reader. Always I've got a message telling that the instruction 0x5ad71531 referenced memory at 0x00000014 that could not be read.
I read in this Forum about a similar problem -but not identical, the instruction (0x030db8fbn) and the referenced memory are not the same-. The fist suggested solution was to install the 7.05 update. Since I'm using the 7.08 version this solution is not feasible.
The other suggested solution was to disable the integration with Internet Explorer. And this is actually a workable solution because when I do it the shutdown problems disappear.
Anyway I'd like to know if there is some alternative to fix this issue without losing the Internet Explorer integration.
If this is not the case I hope Adobe engineers will take notice of this problem and provide some fix with the next upgrade.
