I have created an index in Acrobat 5.0 which users can search the index using Adobe Reader 7 (Windows). The problem is that this index also has to be accessible from Adobe Reader 7 (Linux). Using the latter, the index file (PDX) is deemed not compatible with this version of Reader. I know that there is a plug-in in Adobe Reader 7 Windows called Search5.api that allows searching of indexes created by earlier versions of Catalog. Does any one know if such a plug-in exists for Adobe Reader 7 in Linux?

Thanks,
Emelda
