I too am trying to enable forms and text tools. So the question becomes: How do you change document preferences to enable the commenting, text tool and form filling? Some other details that may be helpful: Adobe 7.0.8 My document pdf version is 1.0 Security Method: No Security Document scanned in using Epson CX4200 4.5, Epson Scan 2.77A
