7.0 Reader Print Job Size is HUGE!

Since upgrading to v.7 from v.5, print job sizes have grown exponentially when printing v.3x files. A 31 page pdf (scanned text document) with a file size of 2 megs goes to the printers as a 991 meg print job. (ONE GIG!).

Any ideas other tha rolling back to v.5x?
