When I go into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and click on the Remove button, I receive the following error message: "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Window Installer patch package." I started having Adobe Reader 8, Flash Player and "you must Install Active X Control" error messages from websites after I received an Adobe Flash Player update. After contacting the Adobe Customer Support line, the customer service rep gave me a link to reinstall Flash Player but told me that I must first uninstall Reader 8.1. With him on the phone, I tried doing so unsuccessfully so he told me to come to this forum for resolution. Help!
