So you are saying that the 7.0.8 is for Vista Beta -- and not Vista RTM??? -- anyway I got it installed by logging on as "local\administrator" which has a local home directory then it installed fine. But I would consider this a bug in the Acrobat Reader install program. (I had elevated rights as myself).
