After updating, then reinstalling thinking I had a corrupt file, but to no avail, the search function does not work on all PDF files. I get an error message, "Because the document has been modified since it was last searched, the search results are no longer valid. Would you like to repeart your search?" When I was searching for the word "records" it came back with three hits highlighting "versions", "mixes" and "THEATRE" - but not "records" that was clearly visable in the document in multiple places. I can cut and paste from the PDF, so the words are clearly accessible and not a picture. Other words resulted in either no hits or wrong search patterns. Most of the files that appear to be unreadable were sourced from documents originating from WordPerfect. Sometimes, when I download other documents from other sources, it appears to work fine. Unfortunately, the main source of my documents that I need to be able to search are those from WordPerfect conversions to PDF. Any solutions? Comments?
