I would like to open a pdf file with Reader at a specific page within the file. I have a large (460 page) file that I am opening up from within MS Access. I can get the file to open up OK, but I want to go to a specific page. I'm using VBA to open the file. If I take the document and split it into 460 individual pdf files, I can open up a specific page file that way, but our larger file has interactive links within it so the user may navigate within the document easily. That's why I want to open the larger file, go to a specific page (say page 154) and then when it is open, the reader can use the interactive links within the open file to navigate from there. I've seen suggestions like opening a file using doc.pdf#nameddest=whatever or doc.pdf#page=154 but neither of these parameters seems to work with Acrobat Reader (version 7.0.8 ). I've tried opening the document from within Windows Internet Explorer, but that didn't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
