thank you, this is very interesting. I am using the german version and in german we have the so called typografic quotation mark. it means the first is at th bottom the second on the top like ,,this". I had the feeling that there were relations that the printing was not correct in parts of the texts where these quotation marks were used. But I did not follow this in detail, because it seemed to me that this was not the only symbol or character whith this result. At least the apostroph ' seemed to be critical. Then to find out all the characters or symbols with this problem can be no solution for us. We have many documents technical informations, data sheets, training manuals and so on offered for a download or sent by mail to many customers. We cannot delete all the ' in all the documents. Also we cannot ask every customer which printer with which driver he is using. That's why I worry. Until now every document could be printed without problems everywhere no matter of country, PC system, printer, driver whatelse...(allways wysiwyg) That was the reason why I liked to use Acrobat. but because this happens only with Acrobat 7 that means to me it is a problem of Acrobat and not of my configurations.
Technical Details
