Hi,

I've been having some problems with linking to specific pages within a PDF from a website.

For a client we created a possibility to provide filenames and pagenumbers to be displayed in their site. However, when the clients provides multiple lines to the same file with different pages, after opening the first link, adobe reader seems to stick to this page, even when in a new link, a new page is provided, e.g.:

some.pdf#page=2

will lead to page 2, when this window is closed, and the user then clicks:

some.pdf#page=3

page 2 is still displayed. I did close the IE window after clicking the first link, but obviously acroread stays loaded. If i close the acroread process manually, it does go to the proper page, but again, only the first time. Is this a known issue/is there a solution for this?

The Problem occurs in IE6 with adobe reader 7. It does work with Firefox 1.5 on the same computer, also seems to work with IE 7 and adobe reader 7.

I've already tried url_rewrite to 'fool' the reader that is concerns a new PDF file, but even if the file is a copy of the original file, the problem occurs.
