I finally got it all to work. I'm not exactly sure how.

It looks like there are two places to tell how to handle files, one in Control Panel - Folders, and the second one that (I think) was in the browser itself.

Sorry for sounding so confused, but I am. I am in the end zone of putting together a CD with over 175 WW2 diaries of 106th Division - Battle of the Bulge -veterans for their Association. Everything was going good, and then problem after problem. Lightening took out the computer and it has been a long task getting everything back together. I am hoping to get it all done so that they may send out as Christmas gifts.

My FrontPage "web" is three frames, top banner, left table of contents and the large right main frame.

I am getting closer, because I can now see the PDF when I click on a link in the TOC.

But now it is appearing in a new window instead of the frame. Everything is set identical, and HTMLs appear in the frame, just not the PDFs.

You can see a similar arrangement at www.IndianaMilitary.org Click on 106th Division and then Diaries. The only PDF there is near the botton, Vitelli, Al.

When I click,I get "Al" in a new window. I'd be interested in what happens if you try it. All the others are html's and will open in the frame.

The CD will be all the diaries that appear there. I am thinking, if I get it to work, of converting the web html pages to pdf so viewers can print easier.

Thanks for the reply.
