When viewing a PDF generated from Crystal Reports export to PDF function, the Wingdings fonts (that are used for displaying blank and checked boxes) display as expected. In Reader versions prior to 7.0, the checkboxes would also appear on the printed output. After upgrading to Reader 7.0, the checkboxes still appear when viewing the PDF online. However, the checkboxes no longer appear on the printed output. The printed output now contains blanks where the checkboxes used to appear.

This is obviously causing major issues with our users that have Adobe Reader 7.0 or greater installed on their computers. Is there any work-around to this issue (other than telling the users to reinstall a version of the Reader prior to 7.0)?
