Text in fillable form disappears when you tab to next box

I created a fillable form in Acrobat (Professional 7.0) and it works fine on my computer but when I put that form on another computer with Adobe Reader and open it and try to enter data in a fillable text box, as soon as you tab to the next text box, the information you just entered immediately disappears. How do I stop the information from disappearing? Other applications I have created don't have this problem. Thanks for any suggestions.
