Amen. This is the worst piece of memory bloatware running in our Citrix farm. I noticed that Adobe has said absolutely nothing in their defense. Nor is there anything in their official KB about memory tuning. It seems to me they don't care. Try Foxit 2.0. It's free, and it'll read PDF's with 1/4 the memory used. You can also fill in documents, but not in IE (yet, you can only read them in IE, then save and edit). They're working on the IE plug-in fix for the next revision. I'd much rather have Adobe fix their leaks or at least allow memory optimization by sysadmins, but if they continue to refuse to address the issue, then more power to somebody who will.
