I'm having some issues accessing a .PDF off of a website. When I click the link to download it, I receive the error prompt "File does not begin with '%PDF-'". Other .PDFs on the website can be download and read fine, however no matter what I try this one file won't open. Some details: Adobe Reader 7.0 (version 7.0.7) WinXP SP 2, IE 6.0.2900 Additionally, when I view the .PDF when it's e-mailed to me, I can open it fine. It's only if I try to view the file through my IE browser that this error occurs. Sure enough, if I open the e-mailed (functional) .PDF in MS Word, the file starts with %PDF, but if I download the PDF through IE and attempt to open it outside of the web browser, it still fails. Opening -this- copy in MS Word confirms that no %PDF tag exists at the start of the file. What could be causing this problem?
