Ok -- I'm absolutely stumped. Have you seen this happen and have been able to fix it?

1) User clicks on link on web page to open PDF document
2) Adobe Acrobat Reader program opens and attempts to open PDF
3) User clicks on the OPEN button
4) Error message is received stating that it cannot find the file

-- But --

1) User clicks on link on web page to open PDF document
2) Adobe Acrobat Reader program opens and attempts to open PDF
3) User clicks on the SAVE button
4) File can be saved and then opened off of the desktop

We've tried reinstalling with the latest version, but had no success. Out of about half dozen users, only two are having problems. We've also scrubbed for spyware and virus contamination.

We're running WinXP with service pack 2 and IE 6.0. All workstations are the same with the same security settings for the PC and IE6.

It almost appears as though the PDF is being deleted from cache before Reader can open it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Patrick
