I am having the same problem trying to install 7.0 etc.. The response is "This version of Adobe Reader already present.... My Add/Remove would not work so I tried the "Windows Installed Cleanup Utility". This DID remove it from Add/Remove BUTTTT I still get the repsonse "This version of Adobe etc....". What/where in my WinXP system is the new program reading this from? And how do I get to this file or whatever and delete it? I cannot open ANY pdf files? Is there any other program which will open pdf or convert it to another file so I can open it. HELP!!
