Hello,

I have a web application that generates PDF invoices which are previewed in an html popup window as an embedded pdf. In the PDF I have links back to the web app for fast editing of the invoice.

As the web app requires extensive security it is important that the PDF link opens the URL in the same popup html window. This WORKED correctly with IE 5, IE 6

Since installing the new Internet Explorer 7.0 I have had mixed results. It worked correctly on 2 out of 3 test computers. On the broken computer it opens the PDF link in a new tab which breaks the link.

I carefully looked through all the IE settings including those related to tabs but I could not find any differences between the computers. Then I did a complete IE reset (under options, Advanced Tab) to a computer that was working correctly after the reset it broke � now it opens the links in a new tab.

So now I have 1 out of 3 computers working correctly with no option differences.

I have tried several different versions of acrobat - each has the same respone on the broken computers. As IE 7 is now released has anyone experienced or found a solution to this?
